Happening This Week – 9/10 to 9/16

Congressional District 6 candidates Jana Lynne Sanchez and John W. Duncan are back at it again this week with two great opportunities to hear from them. Plus, State Representative Chris Turner is holding a town hall just across the street from our precinct! Come on out and hear from these folks!

  • On Monday, join Jana Lynne Sanchez, candidate for Congressional District 6, from 6-9pm at her campaign headquarters (112 E. Randol Mill Road, Arlington) along with other Democratic women candidates in the DFW area for a “Surge” Meet & Greet.   • On Saturday, meet John W. Duncan, candidate for Congressional District 6, at Savor Coffee Bar & Eatery (1101 E. Bardin, Arlington) from 10:00-11:30am to get his take on what it will take to unseat Rep. Joe Barton and what John sees for the future of District 6.IMG_0006
  • Also on Saturday, from 1:00-2:30pm, State Representative Chris Turner (Dist. 101) will be holding a town hall meeting a the Arlington Municipal Airport, located at 5000 South Collins Street.

Happening This Week – 9/3 to 9/9

There are several great opportunities this week to hear from candidates seeking to represent you at the federal level in the U.S. House of Representatives. It’s also TCDWC meeting time again. Hope you’re able to make one of this wonderful events!

  • On Wednesday, join Jana Lynne Sanchez (for TX06) in Mansfield at the home of Jessica and Mike Camacho for a meet and greet from 6-8pm (1209 Killian Drive, Mansfield).
  • On Thursday, head out to Cancun’s in Red Oak (273E Ovilla Rd, Ste 4) from 6-8pm for another opportunity to hear from Jana Lynne Sanchez.
  • On Thursday, John W. Duncan (for TX06) will be in Arlington at Danielita’s (1100 E. Pioneer) from 6:30-8:30pm for a meet and greet.
  • On Saturday, join me at the Tarrant County Democratic Woman’s Club from 10am-12pm at Unity (church) Fort Worth at 5051 Trail Lake Drive.

Happening This Week – 8/27 to 9/2

This week is the week of the big Arlington town hall with Congressman Joe Barton! There are also opportunities to hear from some of his opponents, as well as from candidates for other offices. Check out what’s on deck below.

  • Sunday
    • From 3-4pm, catch up with the 360 Corridor Democratic Action group for their monthly meeting at Romano’s Macaroni Grill, 1670 W. I-20 in Arlington.
  • Tuesday
    • John W. Duncan for Congressional District 6 will be at La Rueda Mexican Restaurant in Ft. Worth from 6:30-8pm.
  • Wednesday
    • If you’re near Rice, take your lunch from 12-1 and head to First Baptist Church at 201 Dallas St. for the first of town halls with our U.S. House of Representatives Member Rep. Joe Barton.
  • Thursday
    • If you’re in Crowley at lunch time, head to the Crowley Recreation Center at 405 S. Oak from 12-1 for town hall #2 with Rep. Joe Barton.
    • Or if you’re in Ennis near dinner time, town hall #3 with Rep. Joe Barton will be at the Ennis Public Library from 6-7pm.

I was dealing with some family issues and, as I am still a team of one, was unable to share with you the activities for last week. However, we’re back going strong now and here’s what’s coming your way this last full week of July 2017!
